WHO ARE WE?

Northgate Church is a group of people committed to an authentic expression of Christianity. It is our desire to be a relevant voice of good news to our community that in relationship with Jesus Christ there is freedom from guilt and shame and the shackles of dead religion. In Christ there is purpose and meaning and true fulfillment for all people everywhere.

Northgate Church desires to be a place where people can find a meaningful relationship with God and participate in demonstrating His love to others while being encouraged and equipped to be successful in life's journey.

To be a people committed to an authentic expression of Christianity.

Which means:

We are Real people living in a Real world with a Real relationship with Jesus Christ. We embrace our humanity and our need for God's Mercy.

We are a Relational people who are not afraid to share the experiences of life with others and to develop genuine friendships with people regardless of their race, creed or color.

We are a Redemptive people believing in the Grace of God to embrace all who call upon His name. We exist to declare this good news and to practice it in our lives.

To be a people that communicate and demonstrate the Gospel of Freedom.

This is the Good News in Christ:

We are Free from the power of sin.

We are Free from the guilt of the Law.

We are Free from dead religion.

We are Free to pursue God's purposes and plan for our lives.

To be a people that are committed to fulfilling the Biblical Mission of the Kingdom of God.

To provide a place where people can come into a meaningful relationship with God and find purpose and meaning for their lives.

To equip people to be a relevant voice and demonstration of God's desire to draw all people into relationship with Him.

To be messengers of this Gospel in our community, our state, our nation and the world.

To demonstrate the love of God to people everywhere in relevant and tangible ways.
